ERODED (IT) - Necropath CD

ERODED was formed back in 2003 in Alessandria/Italy to play old school death metal in Scandinavian vein of the 90s.

The band contains members and ex-of MORTUARY DRAPE, VOIDS OF VOMIT or FORMACE & so far released 2 demos, one compilation. After their successfully debut album ''Engravings Of A Gruesome Epitaph'' back in 2012 the Italian undeads are back in best murderous shape.

Here comes ERODED's brillant 2nd ghoulish full length album ''Necropath'' & you can expect 8 morbid tracks. The songs rumble along with stomping mid-paced belligerence and occasional bursts of faster aggression. It’s heavy and brutal, but in a controlled, strategic way.

As mentioned above, an air of war metal hovers over this release, combining with the band’s Swedish death metal influences in a very satisfying manner. A mix of BOLT THROWER & DISMEMBER is a decent way of thinking about the 35 minutes of  ''Necropath'', at least in general terms.
