This item is part of my own extremely extensive collection that I began in the late seventies when at 17 years of age I discovered The Crusaders.  Formally known as The Jazz Crusaders from the late 1950’s they later became known as The Crusaders.  After a concert at the Bristol Colston Hall where I was first introduced to the keyboard skills of Joe Sample who provided the initial part of the show himself before joining the remainder of the group for the main part of the evening’s fantastic entertainment.  From there I was hooked and not only travelled to wherever I could to see them but also started collecting everything from ticket stubs to signed CD’s to photographs, vinyl albums, eight tracks and cassettes and posters.  I also followed the careers of the guys as individual artists and collected their music along with the music of Ms. Randy Crawford who has been part of the team since her vocal on Street Life and her numerous projects with Joe Sample to create great albums and super shows.  Here you will find advertised gradually my whole collection which contains many promo items, signed items and sealed products of all kinds. After the deaths of Joe Sample and Wayne Henderson these past few years I have decided to let the collection be sold and split so that others may enjoy the items that I have spent almost these last forty years collecting.  I’m not sure if a collection of this size is owned by any other fans however it has been my pleasure in securing these items and more so enjoying the music of Joe Sample and the Crusaders as the background to my life.
