(I believe the wood is called masonite.)

I am estimating the age to be from the 1950's - 1960's.

The letters have a black paint on them -- some of the paint has worn off.

Some of the corners are worn or chipped off.

They have holes drilled in them so that you can screw them on to a board or wall.
