This
listing is for a wonderful antique Art Nouveau Tray from Portland,
Oregon.
It reads "Good Health" and F. H. Steinbart &
Son, 91 Grand Ave, Portland, ORE.
The Art Nouveau Period ran
from around 1870-1915.
Grand Avenue runs north/south
along the Willamette River on the east bank of Portland.
Steinbart
could have been an apothecary or grocery store or trader of some
kind.
It is 4 1/2" in diameter and 1/2"
deep.
It is not polished and I think it made from bronze
but it could be pewter.
It weighs 1.7 ounces. An amazing
example of old advertising from old Portland.
