Rasam Powder Masala - 100g

Cooking directions: Cook 60g (4 TBSP) of Red gram dal in 800ml of water, with 1/2 tsp of cooking oil and a pinch of turmeric.
Churn the cooked dal and keep aside.
Boil tamarind extract with jaggery (unrefined sugar) if desired.
Add 1 tbsp (15g) of Rasam Powder and salt to taste.
Add chopped tomatoes (60g). Add the churned, cooked dal and water to the desired consistency.
Cook for about 10 minutes. 
Add 1/2 tsp Mustard and Asafoetida seasoned in ghee.

Ingredients: Urid dhal, coriander, chilli, Turmeric, pepper, fenugreek, cumin, salt, Asafoetida & curry leaves.
