Production requirements:
1.The nest should be made of pure beeswax. If the content of mineral wax in the nest is high, the bees will not spleen on the wax. However, all the nests of goods produced in China are not made of real pure beeswax, so be sure to carefully select them when purchasing, and choose those nests containing more than 70% pure beeswax.
2.The eye of the nest must be made according to the size of the worker's bee. The basic specifications of the hive are 41.5cm*19.5cm. At the same time, the whole spleen is flat and the eyes are uniform. There is no male bee room.
Installation method:
1.Nest frame: 4 small holes are placed on the center line of the two sides of the frame. The nest frames produced by some manufacturers generally have their eyes fixed. They are directly put on special iron wire and traversed the 4th No. 24 fine galvanized iron wire. The two ends should be pulled tightly and fixed with small nails. The top of the nest should be inserted into the frame ditch of the upper beam, and then placed on the base embedding plate, and the wire is buried in the nest by the roller. (Note: When using the embedding device, push it from bottom to top, use even force, push it gently, prefer not to push the nest more than a few times, otherwise it will be easy to produce the male bee room). The nest base plate is a thick plate (about 15 mm thick) slightly smaller than the inner frame of the nest frame, and each of the lower ends is made of a 152×15 mm wooden strip.
2.Repair and storage of the spleen: generally in the season of the bee, the nest frame filled with nests into the new branch of the bee colony to make the spleen. As long as the average temperature is around 15 °C, the other seasons of the honey source can also make the spleen. The well-made spleen should be kept well, otherwise it will be easily bitten by the nest insects or attract beetles. In order to prevent the occurrence of nest insects, it can be fumigated with carbon disulfide, glacial acetic acid or sulfur, or it can be sprayed with a nest.
