If you do your research on Omax watches, you will find that they have been around since 1946. Although they are a Swiss company, they are now manufactured in the far east but remain faithful to the renowned quality standards . This quartz watch features a Seiko (Epson) movement which is 100% Japan made and boasts up to a 4 year battery life. It is exceptionally reliable and accurate.

These are what I would consider “proper” timepieces.  The cases and bracelets are high quality and all Omax watches are water resistant. With proper care, these will last a lifetime.

We are a family run watch business who have been specialist watchmakers and retailers of Seiko since 1974, and have been retailing Omax since the mid 1980's. About Omax

Some notes about Omax that we hope you will find useful - there is a lot of misinformation from other sellers. Omax is a Swiss brand, and markets itself as such with its long standing branding heritage. The brand has been around since 1946 and was once the largest exporter by volume of Swiss watches. One of the great things about Omax watches are the movements - they are all sourced from Seiko (Epson) Japan and have been since the mid 1980's with their partnership with Seiko. All Omax watches are manufactured in the far east. Therefore, Omax watches are NOT actually Swiss made, and have not been for decades. They do NOT have Swiss movements, so please beware of sellers who claim their Omax products are "Swiss", "Swiss Made" or have "Swiss Movements". They are not Swiss, but they are just great watches with exceptional build quality and reliability. Omax is NOT a subsidiary of Seiko as some sellers claim - Omax have a long standing arrangement to use Seiko (Epson) movements.
