I love painting pictures of old stones and this framed and glazed original watercolour features a study of a colonnaded terrace on the top of Castle Hill in Nice on the Côte d’Azur, France. There’s not much left of the original castle ruins, only remnants of collapsed walls in amongst the gardens. This terrace is not part of the old castle but it did catch my eye for a painting as it was so well framed by the flowering shrubs and trees.

This study was painted by award winning local Perth artist Hadyn Kiesey whose work sells Australia wide and internationally.

The image size is 20 cm x 15 cm. The framed and glazed work is 32.5  cm x 27.5  cm.  The painting is new and in excellent condition. The mat white frame and white mat, ideally compliments the picture.  The painting is offered with free express postage in Australia.
