Hello Here we have a brand ESS AUDIODRIVE ES1878S in OEM Package from ESS audio.
I bought these in the late 1990's as bulk OEM cards for service,
replacement or new installation to old machines that had no sound. At the time
a lot of people where gifted older office pc’s that had no sound card as
standard to save money!
Installed many when new with no issues, however professional / competent
installation as you will need a working knowledge of older machines and OS like
DOS 6.22 to benefit from such a card. A knowledge of IRQ, DMA, PORT etc. A
floppy disc with the driver is included as pictured.

***The actual cost to the EU and UK Mainland and USA is increasing due to the departure of the UK from the common market, the global pandemic of 2020 and the situation in the Ukraine as a result from January 25th 2023 our partners for delivery in the UK and now Ireland at UPS will cease to accept deliveries at their parcel lockers to the UK and Ireland.
The price for postage will go up and the package size will be reduced from 10KG to 2KG. Some of the smaller Items I have shipped in the past will be no longer available for sale. The most common rate of 15.50€ will be applied where available, so most items remain unaffected. Price for the remaining outside of Ireland is now fixed at least €25.50 cost price with a 2KG limit, this will still not allow me to ship any item with a lithium battery. Any Motherboards will have their button battery removed and can be shipped, other items like laptops and mobiles can’t be shipped for any reasonable earthly price.***
If we find a cheaper/ better value shipping company be assured we will jump straight onto it. Also be fully aware that you will be subject to VAT/Tarrifs/Import Duties from the 1st of January 2021 and you are responsible to pay such duties to the relevant authorities unless otherwise recouped for example by eBay on your behalf.
30€ will cover in most cases worldwide destinations provided package remains below the 2KG limit.
