This iPod is 8 years old. It still switches on, however "temperamental", is the best word I can use to describe it. Sometimes the screen freezes when playing songs or it switches off on its own. The battery depletes very quickly after a full charge. In my opinion, I think if the battery is replaced, you will more than likely be able to get the iPod back to full working order.  

The exterior condition of the iPod is excellent. I always had a case on it, which protected it from any extensive wear. There are miniscule nicks on it (see images), but nothing highly noticeable.

The iPod is personalised with a name on the back. If you have any engraving removing knowledge you can remove the engraving yourself. If not, you can look for a professional who can. The other option is to replace the backplate completely with one with no engraving. If you do this, please be aware you will no longer have the original serial number for this particular iPod as the number is on the backplate.

The charging wire has a lot of wear (see images) but, it is still in working condition. I have not personally had any issues using it to charge the iPod. However, given its condition I would say it would be best to replace.

I will send the iPod in its original packaging along with any extras that came with it (minus the headphones). I will also throw in the Belkin case, which I have bought separately. 

It will be coming from a clean, smoke and pet free house. Please ensure that you thoroughly read my terms and conditions below before putting in a bid/offer for an item. I have put it in place to protect both parties and ensure a smooth transaction.

Bids & Offers:

  • I describe each of my items as accurately as I can (including any damage, wear and tear) and provide the best images that I can to match my description. If I miss out anything, it is a genuine mistake and I do not intend to mislead anyone.
  • I have a 'NO RETURNS' policy. If you are not sure about an item, I encourage you to contact me if you feel you need further information or images on an item before putting in a bid/offer. I will not make any exceptions on refunds where you did not contact me for clarity on an item prior to purchasing.  
  • Please DO NOT put in a bid/offer for an item that you do not intend to pay for. I am a private seller so situations like this are annoying and a waste of my time. All non-payers will be reported to eBay and have an 'Unpaid Item' case opened against them.

Payment:

  • only accept payment by Paypal. Apologies in advance for this.
  • Please make payment(s) within three days of purchasing the item. If you need more time, please let me know by getting in contact with me or else I will assume you are a non-payer.

Postage& Packaging:

  • Postage and packaging cost include all the stationery that I have to buy to pack your item(s) plus handling time (e.g. time spent packing item, going into town to post packages etc). Therefore, some of the charge goes towards this, not just postage alone.
  • UK BUYERS – The vast majority of my items are posted using the Hermes postal service (anything small will be sent with Royal Mail). If you would like an item(s) posted with an alternative postal service to Hermes, I am more than happy to do this. However, there will be an extra charge for this, which you as the buyer will have to pay. 

> For clarification, the extra postage charge will be ontop of the current P&P price that I am charging e.g. If I amalready charging £4.00 for P&P costs and I have quoted you an extra £1.50for the alternative postal service, the total for the P&P cost will be£5.50.

  • INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - Good news! I am enrolled on the eBay Global Shipping Programme. The shipping (postage) prices and import charges you will see on the listings will be calculated by eBay and not I. Please do not contact me about changing these as I will be unable to do this. 
  • I aim to dispatch items the next working day once payment is made. So, the earlier you pay, the earlier you will receive your item.

PLEASE NOTE THIS EXCEPTION - In the past I have soldmore than one item at a time. Some buyers paid straight away and others paid aday or two later. In situations such as this I wait for payment to be made forall items, so that I can dispatch all packages at the same time. If you're anearly payer and you receive your item a little later than usual this will bethe most likely reason. Regardless, all paid items will be dispatched at theend of three working days even if others are yet to pay. 

  • With the Hermes postal service, I automatically get a tracking number for any package I send with them. I will add this on eBay for you to track your item. This will also apply for any tracked alternative postal services you pay for.  
  • If I post your item using a non-tracked postal service (e.g. Royal Mail Standard 2nd Class), I will retain 'proof of postage' I have posted the item and write down a return address on the back of the package in the unlikely case the package does not reach you and needs to make its way back to me.
  • If you choose an alternative postal service, you must choose one with tracking to guarantee the item’s delivery. I will not post any items with alternative postal service that does not have tracking.
  • Once I have posted your item, I cannot be held responsible for guaranteeing the exact date of its arrival. When the item gets delivered is out of my hands. Please be aware of this if you want your item to arrive before a certain date.

Refunds:

  • As  you will already be aware I have a 'NO RETURNS' policy. However, I will only make an exception if I believe that I have made the mistake on the listing.
  • If I decide to refund an item that does not meet the exception above, this will be out of good faith. When this is the case I will refund the price of the item only. I will not refund original P&P costs (as this will have already been spent sending the item to you) nor will I pay for return postage.
  • Items must be returned in the exact same method/condition it was posted e.g. if it was sent with Hermes then it must be returned with Hermes; if it was bubble wrapped then it must be returned bubble wrapped and so on.
