Brenner piezo-one™ Strat bridge hybrid guitar conversion saddle kit
This offering is for one hi-fi piezo-one™ P1-1AR guitar pickup gang saddle by Brenner Guitar Products w/ Rean/Neutrik stereo jack. The P1-1AR replaces 6 individual vintage style (stamped) or modern saddles found on Fender Stratocasters and clones having 2-1/16" (52.5mm) saddle spacing.
Brenner piezo-one™ saddles allow simple, reversible, no-modification installation to several popular electric guitar types. They feature overall compensation and height adjustment screws for precise location. The saddles are precision machined to provide the lowest action on necks ranging from 10" through 14" fretboard radii. Piezo-one™ string to string compensation provides true tonal accuracy when using commonly incremented "unwound G" string sets.
Unlike individual saddles, piezo-one™ saddles stay in place and are not affected by playing forces. The gang saddle configuration offers accurate string to string spacing, and greater tuning stability. Gang structure also minimizes string energy loss through the bridge. An increased energy transfer to magnetic and piezo pickups results in greater output and sound spectrum from both!
Piezo-one™ design features string supports that are machined for maximum sonic engagement with the piezo elements. This electro-mechanical arrangement produces a much stronger output and frequency response than conventional piezoelectric transducer saddles. The saddles are compatible with all preamplifiers designed for piezo transducer use. Saddles are 100% machined and assembled in Milwaukee WI, USA. Package includes one Rean/Neutrik 1/4" stereo jack and allen wrench as pictured.
PIEZO-ONE P1-1A SADDLES FIT ONTO BRIDGE PLATES OF MOST MODERN FENDER STRAT AND CLONE GUITARS (2-1/16" string spacing). Pre-1968 Strats, and era based models require a Fender "Vintage Narrow" 007-2290-000 bridge plate (or similar) for P1-1AR compatibility. Fender Vintage Narrow plates have original vintage (OV) 2-7/32" spaced mounting/pivot screws and 2-1/16" saddle/string spacing . The Callaham V/N, and Gotoh 6 Point NS510T bridge variations also fit vintage Strats and are compatible with our P1-1A saddle. The Wilkinson WVC, and the Gotoh 6 Point 510T Bridge variations are configured for OV mounting, and P1-1B compatible 2-1/8" (wider) saddle screw spacing. Wudtone and other companies also produce bridges for Fender Stratocaster Guitars, that are P1-1A, and P1-1B compatible.
A Fender "improved" style bridge plate (or similar) is required for P1-1AR installation on guitars equipped with 2 Point tremolo bridges having offset saddles (screws off center). Improved 007-5091-000/049 type 2 point bridges can be found on American Standard and Professional Stratocasters produced since 2008. Improved 007-2253-000 bridges can be found on the MIM Classic Player Strat. These P1-1AR compatible bridges feature centered screw, 2-1/16" spaced saddles. Fender offers these improved bridges as upgrades to their offset saddle equipped Strat models. Gotoh also makes Fender spaced 2 Point NS510T bridge variations that are P1-1A compatible. Our P1-1B saddles will fit the Gotoh 2 Point 510T variants having 2-1/8" saddle spacing.

MEASURE YOUR EXISTING BRIDGE PLATE TO INSURE COMPATIBILITY:
E to E string compensation screw center spacing approximately 2-1/16" or 52.5mm
The pickup output wire is oriented as shown to allow movement during tremolo operation. The output wire comes with a 3/32" (2.5mm) phone plug attached for more installation options. Cut and strip the coax cable for direct connection to the provided stereo jack, or your favorite onboard preamp. The pictured installation was done by notching a replacement pickguard to accept the piezo signal wire. The P1-1AR features a fine matte finished top.
