This beautiful Dresser weighs approximately 140 pounds and measures 93 ¼” in total height, 44” in width, and 20” in depth. The height from the floor to the marble top is 34 ¼” and the marble top alone measures 44” in width and 19 ½” in depth. The mirrored top frame is removable for shipping and it measures 59” in height, 42 ¼” in width, and 6 ½” depth. The mirror itself should be removed from the frame for shipping. The attention to detail given to the design of this beautiful Victorian Renaissance Revival Dresser is fabulous and the patina of the rich walnut wood is lovely!
The mirrored top configuration of this dresser is splendid! It has a gorgeous frame that encased the swinging mirror. This gorgeous frame is adorned with foliate, egg, and scroll carvings along with lovely candle stands and turned finials. Please note that this mirrored top configuration can and should be disassembled for shipping purposes. Next you will notice the beautiful original beveled edge shaped white marble top which is in excellent condition and sits on the fancy dresser base.
The fancy dresser base has four dovetailed drawers adorned with picture frame moulding along with handsome wooden foliate carved pulls, intact locks and wooden key escutcheons. Elegant dimensionally carved scrolled sconces grace the sides of the top drawer. The top drawer is divided into three sections inside. All of the drawers provide a plethora of storage opportunity. Additional design details include recessed side panels, additional picture frame moulding around the bottom, geometric feet (you will note that the right back foot was replaced at some point in time, see eBay photo), and brass castors on all of the feet for ease of movement.
