Renaissance Wax Polish 200ml

Renaissance® wax polish was originally formulated in the British Museum research laboratories in the early 1950's. In accelerated ageing tests, the British Museum found that all current commercial waxes based on the usual natural waxes (beeswax and carnauba wax) contained acids which in time, could spoil original finishes on national historic collections of furniture. Renaissance® is a fossil or micro-crystalline wax which is much finer than totally natural waxes, completely acid free (pH neutral). When applied thinly and buffed to full lustre, the wax film remains glass clear, with no discolouration. Widely used in the professional restoration of arms and armour, sculpture, ceramics, marble, brass and copper cookware, automobile paint work, leather and other fine art surfaces. On the motor car, Renaissance® wax can be used on all surfaces paint, bright metals, rubber and plastic seals. Used by musical instrument makers and restorers for violins, cellos and guitars and perfect for wooden clock cases. Can be removed using white spirit.
