The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band’s The Complete BBC Recordings was released by Strange Fruit in 2002. In 1967, 1968 and 1969 the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band recorded no less than 13 sessions for Radio 1. Seven for Top Gear, two for Saturday Club, two for Symmonds on Sunday, one for Dave Lee Travis and one for Radio 1 Club. The cultural range of these programs demonstrates the width of the audience for the Bonzos' unusual tomfoolery. Includes the classic "Monster Mash" and two versions of Bonzos' trademark "I'm The Urban Spaceman Baby", one with full band and one acoustic version by Neil Innes from 1986. The Complete BBC Recordings contains 20 tracks.
