This listing offers a aftermarket primer finished hand laid fiberglass hood for 1963 , 1964 , 1965 , 1966 and 1977 Corvette 427 design.

The Hood is smooth grey primer finished “ Ready to Paint “ . Will need to sand a little for better adhesion before painting. Hood is reinforced with steel plates.
Fitment:
Fitment plays a very important part in installing all Fiberglass Parts.
Since these parts are hand laid fiberglass, they may require some trimming and body work to get a perfect fit. A trained body shop that has experience with installing aftermarket fiberglass body kits will be your best guide. A trained body shop that might have experience in metal but no fiberglass will not be able to help you.
SPECIAL NOTE:
We HIGHLY recommend using services of Trained, professional installers for all fiberglass parts. A lot of well-made fiberglass parts earn a bad name due to incorrect installation.
INSPECT YOUR SHIPMENT :
Since this item is shipped LTL FREIGHT , its very important that you inspect your the item before signing off Bill of Lading . You need to open the box even if there appears no damage to the box from outside.
Unwrap the bubble and inspect the hood before you sign off the package. If there is damage you need to write " FREIGHT RECEIVED DAMAGED " on the Bill of Lading .
Please take pictures of the damage and inform us within 24 hours of receiving the damaged hood . You will need to send us pictures of the damage hood so that claim can be filed with the carrier .
If you sign off the bill of Lading without inspecting your package or notating FREIGHT RECEIVED DAMAGED then we cannot help you with the claim as your clear signatures absolve the freight carrier of any and all responsibility of the damaged hood received .
