From the Estate of Mae West is this vintage original 8x10 in. single-weight glossy "full-bleed" photograph featuring the legendary stage and motion picture actress and screenwriter, the great MAE WEST. She was voted by the USC Fraternity Sigma Chi West as the "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" in 1970 (when she was 77 years young), and this photograph was taken by Peter C. Borsani (as per the rubber stamp credit on the verso) on the evening of the ceremony for this honorary designation. Miss West is depicted later in her life still looking glamorous in a long platinum blonde wig with a white fur coat over a white dress as she holds a white purse while sharing a laugh with a handsome young man. As was typical for Miss West, she is surrounded by a group of young men without any women present!

This vintage original "full-bleed" photograph was printed without any white borders and is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.

Provenance: The Estate of Mae West.
