1994-95 PARKHURST COMPLETE SET (315) AND PARKHURST SE EUROPEAN COMPLETE SET (270) 

1994-95 PARKHURST COMPLETE SET (1-315)

The 1994-95 Parkhurst Hockey set was issued in one series of 315 standard-size cards. Due to the NHL lockout, series two was not released. The design features a nearly full-bleed front, broken only in the lower right corner where a small gray bar features a silver foil hockey player icon. The green Parkhurst logo appears in an upper corner with player name running down either side. Card backs are unique in that they have full career stats and a player photo. Subsets include Rookie Standout (271-295) and Parkie's Best (296-315). This set is noteworthy for being the last product domestically released by Upper Deck using the Parkhurst name. Although no second series was domestically released, a European- only product - Parkhurst SE - appears to have been the remnants of that planned issue.

1994-95 PARKHURST SE EUROPEAN COMPLETE SET (SE1-SE270) 

This 270-card set apparently was designed to serve as the second series of the 1994-95 Parkhurst product. In the wake of the the NHL lockout of that year, licensing regulations were relaxed, and Upper Deck chose to release the SP line instead. This product subsequently was issued in eleven European countries. The basic cards have the same design as Parkhurst. Although essentially a companion issue to Parkhurst, this set is numbered from 1-270, with a SE prefix. Subsets include '95 World Junior Championships (SE206-SE250) and CAHA Program of Excellence (SE251-SE270). Although this set contains the first year cards of many players. Key cards are Jarome Iginla, Daniel Briere, Jean-Sebastien Giguere, Dan Cloutier, Ed Jovanovski and Marc Savard.
