Why You Need SA Line Guides

SA Line Guides are helpful during paramotor or PPG trike or quad launching. They help to hold the lines in place as the wing inflates and keep them from getting under the wheels, cage, and spinning propeller during launch.

Inspired From Nature

The majestic Saguaro Cactus is a mainstay of Arizona, where I have lived since 1998. One day as I marveled at one particularly beautiful cactus, I had a crazy idea: the arms of the cactus could be scaled down and designed to make incredible line holders... except for the sharp needles. After hundreds of different design prototypes, material tests, and flight tests, I perfected the SA (Saguaro Arm) Line Guides. Features

These SA Line Guides are 3D printed in TPU, a flexible, UV and chemical resistant material. TPU is a commonly used for in covers for smart phones and in many automotive, consumer and industrial applications.  TPU is a difficult material to 3D print, but it is perfectly suited for SA Line Guides.

The advantages of flexible line holders compared to solid (aluminum, steel, or hard plastic) line holders is that they: 

• Conform better, tighter, snugger to cage tubing diameters. Solid line holders are a one-size-fit-all and don't fit round tubing very well.

• Will not poke, dent, or damage anything they bump into. Solid line holders can be hazardous, or even dangerous, if you happen to bump into something or someone.

• TPU is a slippery and flexible material, so the lines glide and move as they naturally do. Solid line holders cause unnecessary abrasion on your lines.

• Super easy to install and remove. Just 2 zip ties per line holder. Solid line holders require clamps or drilling the cage and installing bolts or screws.

Installation

This SA Line Guide Kit includes 2 line holders, and 4 premium black zip ties. Attach to your cage hoop by using 2 zip ties per SA Line Guide. Attach the SA Line Guides on opposite sides of the cage. Use pliers to tighten the zip ties in the SA Line Guides to the cage. As the zip ties are tightened, the SA Line Guides will conform to the curvature and shape of your cage. Tighten the zip ties such that the SA Line Guides conform to your cage and do not easily move on the cage.
