DIMENSIONS:
10" Height x 7 ¼" Width x 1" Depth

 INSCRIPTION:
With inscription on the first page from the previous owner: 'Nellie M. Scholes, West Mansfield, Massachusetts'

DESCRIPTION:
In really quite good overall condition, with an intact but oft opened and closed cloth bound spine. There is some minor corner loss on the front and back covers but no lost or torn pages, some very slight foxing in certain areas and not stains or water damage. The steel engraved plate full page images are in outstanding overall condition and are really the story with this antique children's book. The cover has some scuffs and scratches due to previous use but its overall condition is commensurate with its age and would have to be considered to be in quite good shape. Considering it's a large folio children's illustrated children's book, which would have been repeatedly read and shared with siblings and friends, it has largely survived the test of time. The front cover and illustrations are clear, crisp and truly outstanding. Terrific.

 CONDITION:
Fair to Good overall antique condition. The cloth bound spine is still intact but it has softened and loosened somewhat due to previous viewing over time. It's condition would be commensurate with the volume's age.
