It is titled the "1954 Ford Passenger car shop manual Supplement" and was published by the Ford Division of the Ford Motor Company in the USA in January 1954. It was published by Ford as a supplement to the 1952 Ford cars shop manual covering
components in which there had been improvements made for the 1954 Ford
cars. This supplement manual has sections of the 1954 8 cylinder 239 cubic inch engine, the 6 cylinder 223 cubic inch engine, ignition, fuel and cooling systems, Fordomatic transmission, running gear, power steeting, brakes, starting, generating and lighting systems, instruments and accessories, bodies, Special Police Interceptor unit (256 c.i. V8 engine, ignition, carburetor, manifold and exhaust system, chassis) and Specifications and tools. It is a soft-cover manual of 160 pages and has step-by-step instructions for the servicing and maintenance of these components with black and white illustrations.An excellent resource for anyone restoring or maintaining one of these classic Ford cars.
Condition: This old Ford shop manual is in solid original condition showing a fair bit of wear from use. The cover pages show some dirty marks, creases, heavy scuffs and surface wear. The binding is still good. The inside pages show some marks, stains and creases. There is some writing on a few of the inside pages. The manual measures approx 11 by 8 inches in size.
