Note. This is a universal lens hood. It can be used for different lenses with different filter sizes. Requires extra step-up or step-down ring.

It is not possible to mount the lens cap on this lens hood, and it is not possible to mount this lens hood upside down on the lens.

This lens hood is mounted directly on top of the lens or on a depth-type filter.

This type of lens hood is recommended for use on telephoto zoom lenses, the range of which starts at least from 24mm.

Recommendation. It is safest and best to screw this type of lens hood together with a metal ring.

If you screw directly into the lens, you must be careful not to cut the thread, because the plastic thread of the lens hood is softer than the lens thread.

This is a replacement for the ES-79 II lens hood.
