- Old manuals and paperwork have often been stored in the photographers'
darkroom or gadget bag; as such there are likely to be some
musty odors
- I store everything in a smoke-free, dry and ventilated location
and encourage things like this to "air out" as I handle and store them
to help reduce unwanted odors for you
