Designed in Australia, the LinkTap G2S is the enhanced version of our highly successful G2 water timer, and it works with the same gateway as the previous G1 and G2 models. If you already own a LinkTap G1 or G2 system and are thinking to expand it, you can just get the add-on G2S water timer. Save your investment!

It’s time to fully automate your watering. Enjoy higher precision and hours of saved time with the LinkTap G2S hose timer. It boasts of six different work modes for your system:
- Instant Mode - Allows you to start or stop watering on demand
- Interval Mode - Cycles on an interval day basis
- 7-Day Mode - Weekly schedule
- Odd-Even Day Mode - Activates on either odd or even days
- Month Mode - Waters plants every day on specified months
- Calendar Mode - Watering on specified calendar dates
With the ability to set up to 100 watering cycles per day from 3 seconds to 24 hours per cycle duration, the G2S can meet any watering requirements. Additionally, you can always start or stop the water at any time by pressing the manual button.
The G2S also provides more advanced watering options, e.g., shallow watering every X days while deep watering every Y days. If you have multiple LinkTap water timers, the customizable Batch Watering function can automatically start the water one by one so that the water pressure of individual devices will not be reduced.
Our product's operating water pressure range is 0.02-0.8 Mpa, and it fits BSP thread. The low power design makes 4 AA alkaline batteries last over 2 years.

Real-Time Fault Detection and Notification
If you’ve ever had a break in your system, you know how deep and devastating the damage can spread by the time you find it. That’s why our water timer now has a robust fault detection system! The G2S’ sensors continuously monitor the water flow to detect irregularities, before sending a notification to your registered email address (and up to two others) if any of these potential faults are found:
- Irrigation pipe leaks or clogs
- Valve failure
- Water cut-off or stop flowing
- Device fell or was otherwise disconnected
Now you can enjoy complete peace of mind. This feature is essential if you plan on travelling, or setting up an automatic watering system in your holiday house. Should you be unable to respond to the fault immediately, your other assigned contacts will be alerted and can help handle it for you.
Rain Skip Saves You Water and Money
Rain Skip checks local weather a few minutes before a watering cycle starts. If the predefined rainfall threshold is met using observed + forecasted rainfall (rainfall in the last 6/12/24/48/72 + future 6/12/24/48 hours), the watering cycle will be skipped.
Rain Skip saves the average household thousands of liters of water as it can skip watering schedules BEFORE it rains. Rain Sensors only skip schedules AFTER it has rained, as it needs to physically "feel" rain. Best of all, Rain Skip is FREE!
View Flow Rate and Water Usage in Real Time
In addition to real time watering progress information, you can easily view watering plans for the next 30 days, push notifications of the past 14 days, and comprehensive historical watering data of the past 90 days with just one click on the app.
Receive Push Notifications in Real Time
You will receive the real-time push notifications and/or emails on your phone / tablet when one of the following events occurs:
- Water timer (i.e., TapLinker) fell off the faucet
- TapLinker does not shut off water flow properly
- TapLinker does not open the water flow properly
- Mains water has been cut off
- Water flow rate exceeds a user-defined threshold
- Water flow rate drops below a user-defined threshold
- A programmed or manual watering cycle starts
- A programmed or manual watering cycle finishes

The LinkTap app allows you to select a wide variety of watering modes, whether you aim to start watering every other day, every morning, on a specific date, or on any other specific schedule. Warranty
LinkTap guarantees the wireless water timer and gateway products for 2 years from date of purchase. This guarantee covers all serious defects of the device that can be proved to be material or manufacturing faults. Under warranty we will either replace the device or repair it free of charge if the following conditions apply: The device must have been handled properly and in keeping with the requirements of the operating instructions.Neither the purchaser nor a non-authorised third party have attempted to repair the device. Faults which occur as a result of incorrectly installed or leaking batteries or using third party power adapter & USB cord are not covered by the warranty. Damage caused by frost is not covered by the warranty.
