PLEASE READ: With some larger carpets and vinyls we do

postcodes and struggle with deliveries to Islands and
remote areas...

SA, EX, PL & TR Postcodes in addition to the area
restrictions listed below... We also have a few issues
with Welsh postcodes and some remote East Coast areas.

a business we have over 20 years experience trading as a
contract flooring company.
Newlife Contract (Flooring) Ltd. specialises in large
business and local authority flooring solutions. We usually deal
with medical centers, schools, offices, retail outlets and large
commercial & domestic properties.
We have found an increasing
demand in high quality flooring from the retail market. There
are a lot more people wanting to purchase the finest of floor
coverings for their homes, floor coverings that will stand the
test of time. The high
quality flooring that we provide for the private sector is
usually out of reach for our homes due to the high costs
involved. When we
obtain a large contract we have to buy flooring in large
quantities, usually direct from the manufacturer. Obviously the
larger the quantities the cheaper we can get the flooring that
is required. With this in mind we are now buying in double the
amount that we need at a vastly reduced price... We pass the
savings on to you the customer...
This
is why we can bring some of the finest floor coverings on the
market to you at a price you can afford, usually around 50%
cheaper than the high street.

CHRISTMAS DELIVERIES
Our
showroom will be closed from 23rd December until 4th January... There
will be no deliveries made over the Christmas period. We will start
sending out orders from January 4th 2021 so we should be able to get
your goods to you first week in January (stock permitting)

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATIONDelivery TimesAll deliveries will be made "kerb side" within 1-5 working days, not allowing for weekends and bank holidays. We do try and get most deliveries out on a next day service if ordering before 10am some products are sent direct from suppliers and may take a little longer.
Delivery time scales are approximate; often it can be quicker than stated. However, if delivery takes longer than the time stated we will not entertain any claims for compensation. You should not be booking fitters or making fitting arraningements until you have your goods. The delivery guides are rough estimates and the time scales are occasionally out of our control. We will ALWAYS do our best to notify you if delivery is going to take longer than originally expected.
Please note that if you are out when the courier attempts delivery, he or she may attempt to contact you on the number you provide. If they can't get hold of you they will return to the depot & this could incur a further delivery charge to you. We will in most cases message you with a day for your pallet delivery. Delivery is kerb side only, please ensure you leave the contact number on your details page or when you contact us to place your order.
Restricted AccessDue to the size of some delivery vehicles between 7.5 tonne and 40 tonne, any couriers delivering on our behalf must be informed of any restrictions regarding access for the delivering vehicles. This includes (but is not limited to); steps, any overhanging/low trees/shrubs, steep driveways, narrow lanes, tight bends or any other restrictions that may make it difficult for the delivering vehicle to gain access to the point of delivery. We will not accept any claims for compensation arising from non/failed/refused delivery of any item where the couriers or we were not made aware of any points of issue regarding access restrictions.
Due to health & safety regulations and insurance purposes, upstairs deliveries are at the courier's discretion and are not guaranteed. This includes (but is not limited to) steps that are immediately outside the premises, which couriers are required to climb in order to gain access to the property. In ALL cases delivery drivers are not insured to enter your property this is why we class all deliveries as 'kerb side'
Damage in Transit / ShortagesIf the parcel(s) you receive have any damage on the exterior packaging you must check the contents and list the damage on the driver's delivery note, if the words 'goods delivered in good condition' are on the delivery form next to your signature they need to be crossed out also. If you are at all worried about the goods being damaged, you must sign for the goods as 'Damaged' on receipt. Any damage must be reported to us within 48 hours of signing. If someone else is signing on your behalf they must be made aware of the above. If the package is damaged and you have failed to make any attempt to list this on the delivery note, we or the courier cannot be held responsible. This does not affect your statutory rights and in the event of the goods being faulty, they will be repaired or replaced.
Delivery ArrangementsAs the goods we ship are very heavy, our standard delivery service is made to 'kerb side' due to insurance guidelines - please arrange for adequate help to off load your goods as they are often heavy and bulky. As couriers and delivery drivers are not under our control, we cannot be held responsible for their actions when delivering and if you encounter any problems they must be taken up directly with them. We will always endeavor to deliver at a convenient time for you, but we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused due to events that are out of our control. - eg extreme weather conditions, accidents.
Problems With Your OrderIf your order is found to be incorrect on delivery or inspection, we will arrange for a replacement item or refund for any incorrect items at no additional cost to you where possible.
Please rtain any pallets or delivery packaging wherever possible until you are satisfied there are no problems with your goods.
Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
