This interesting antique brass bowl and flower "frog" dates back to the late Victorian period.  Victoria was the Empress of India then.  It is only hand marked "India" on the back.

Unusual to find both pieces still together after all these years.

These were used to display cut flowers in arrangements.  You can do that if you like, or make and display an arrangements of artificial flowers.

This is all hand tooled with flowers and leaves and in good condition.  The brass could be polished if you like or live it as it is.  The inside of the bowl does have some discoloration of the brass from both age and use.  The domed flower "frog" portion is in good condition as shown in the pictures.

It measures approx. 4 1/2" to the top of the domed "frog" and is about 8" in diameter.

My items are from estates, auctions, consignors and other such venues.  They are not new.  I am very fussy about what I offer on ebay.  I tell you everything I know about an item and what I see.  However, I am not an expert in anything.

PayPal is accepted and I only ship to confirmed addresses within the continental United States.  All shipping includes tracking and USPO insurance.  I package very well.  In case of damage the buyer agrees and is responsible to open the claim with the USPO for reimbursement.  This can be done by taking the item and its packaging to the USPO or going to the USPO site on-line.

Thank you.
