 PSOM  Speedometer motor refurbished. Recharged.

As air core motors age they loose needle dampening.

This motor will not fit 1997 Ford F150,but we do carry them.

Tech notes: Things that can cause the needle pointer to bob while driving .

1 .Defective PSOM,  

2 .Failed speed sensor  & low quality replacements .

3 .Tone ring warped or missing tooth.

4 . Bad wiring ,connectors , bad ground strap.

5. Neutral safety switch dirty or failing .

6. Not uncommon to have several of theses issues at the same time .

7. Bad air core motor .(stepper motor)

Footnote , With a bad PSOM you may not be able to read fault codes in your transmission .
