FABULOUS COLLECTIBLE OVAL SHAPED SILVER TOPPED VICTORIAN INKWELL H/M 1895


This is a very attractive and surprisingly heavy glass inkwell with a silver collar and flip-top lid along with a decorative silver band around the body of the glass ink pot.   A highly collectible and quite unusual item of its type.

Please see the attached photos which are an integral part of this description. All items are described to the best of my knowledge, however I usually don't state the obvious as this can be seen from the numerous photos provided. 

The inkwell and silver fittings are all in excellent condition, as can be seen from the attached photographs.  Whilst the lid bears the engraved initials 'D du C' in script, it has been done in such a skilled manner that it is actually quite an attractive decoration.

Please appreciate that all items are antique/vintage/used and therefore are likely to show varying degrees of age related wear and tear. If you want to ensure 100% pristine condition may I suggest you buy new.
