Our review:  This is very powerful 8 core/ 16 threats  with clock 3.7/4.3Ghz  processor especially for gaming and multicomputing software applications.
We tested several new Ryzen 3000 series (3600x 3700x 3800X)  in gaming with Intel 9700k and 9900k and we using older version CPU-Z 1.78
for CPU benchmark performance. We are impressed with results as 2700X will do 20,040 average in multithread test for presently extremely very low cost
of CPU and included very good cooler as well in price. This older 2000 series Ryzen X CPU will easy beat 9600K,9700k and 3600X in multithread benchmark.
You can buy bit more powerful 3700X, 3800x and 3900X with 7nm technology but it will cost you more in budget for just little better performance with same cooler.
Even highest CPU benchmark tests will still show AMD Ryzen higher benchmark number than Intel in chart, however in gaming Intel 9900k is advancing 3800X in many games in Fps.
Remember all 3D games are design on Intel platform and Intel has high single core at 5Ghz or near. Below is our benchmarks without any overclocking and all on same CPU-Z  v 1.78.
Ryzens with memory clock 3200Mhz and Intel with 3000Mhz DDR4. All tested on Gigabytes MB.  (Z370 Aorus Gaming7 for Intel  and X470 Aorus gaming7 for AMD )
Remember not all Ryzen CPU will get to advertized exact speed - about only 5% of them as correctly Tom's hardware stated. But neither Intel. However all of them are very close
to advertized frequency. What kind of cooling device you will use plays also important role for CPU performance.

Intel i7 9700K  =  18,550 - 18,960    (2485 single thread)
Intel i9 9900K  =  21,780 - 22,204   ( 2513 single thread)
AMD 2700X    =  19,815 - 20,184   ( 2483 single thread )
AMD 3700X    =   22,860 - 23,437   (2692 single thread)
AMD 3800X    =   23,890 - 24,040   (2762 single thread)

All listed tested processors are 8 cores.   Processor 2700X is 8 cores absolute winner for price/performance and it comes with nice Wrath prism cooler included.
