• This starter motor replaces 200W starter motors that turn clockwise when viewed from the Bendix (Cog) end.  CWDE stands for Clock-Wise from Drive End. 

* For engines requiring big starter motors  - (250-400W starter motors) you may need to fit the manual decompressor to assist cranking speeds and reduce current draw on your battery, allowing the use of a smaller battery - saving further weight In flight.

• This motor will not work if your starter motor turns anti clockwise when viewed from the nose or bendix.

This Starter motor is rated at 200W and should be operated in short 5 second bursts to ensure the motor stays cool under high starting loads and high current exposure if your engine is bigger than 125CC. To use this motor for longer cranking periods - please fit a manual decompressor to avoid starter motor damage.

Please Note: If you continually crank any starter motor - it will get hot and the winding resistance will increase reducing current flow and decrease starter motor speed further and amplifying heat gains.

Safe starting is ensuring that you have primed your engine before operating the Starter button, have a good plug and sparks and you are ready to fly.
