Swiveljet® SW2 (1/4” Diameter) HEX Flexible Coolant Delivery Line with 1/4” NPT Adaptor and a .460" x .070" FLAT STRAIGHT Nozzle

·       The flat nozzle is designed to provide a straight fan flow of coolant for broad coverage. The corners of the nozzle are radiused to provide clean (non-distorted) delivery at extended distances. It is supplied with a swivel joint to allow for easy positioning of the coolant flow.

·         Swivel ball joint design with locking threads allows the line to be repositioned easily and quickly locked into place

·         Hex line geometry allows for wrench tightening which can provide additional torque for locking the line in position.

·         Constructed with spark resistant brass for extra durability

·         Utilizes Swiveljet® multi-link variable link design with options of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 links.  Each links adds about 1.5” of length

The Swiveljet System:

Swiveljet® was designed to give you a better coolant nozzle line choice.  It is designed to deliver a strong, cohesive jet of coolant to the grinding or machining area.  It is also designed to be flexible for setup and be tightened to stay rigid.  Finally, it is designed to reduce costs and increase profits.

The line is made of solid brass.  As designed, a single hex line will hold its geometry at 200 psi. The links swivel up to 30 degrees each way, giving the flexibility needed for almost all setups.  Adding or removing a link takes less than 20 seconds.

The Swiveljet® line uses a series of links.  It is made out of solid brass and recyclable.  Links can be added or removed easily to create longer or shorter coolant lines.   Each link has two swivel joints.   When the line is first installed, the operator can set the desired pressure on the swivel joints.

Once installed, the line can be easily moved into position by hand and tightened into place with either a wrench (hex line) or by hand (knurled line).  The lines ares available with a variety of nozzles - either a round swivel or "bullet" nozzle, a flat swivel nozzle, two angled flat nozzles, and a round "power" nozzle.  The coolant jets created by the nozzles use coherent jet fluid principles used in fire hose nozzle technology.  This keeps the coolant together reducing the amount of air brought into the machining or grinding zone.  Finally, standard NPT manifold fittings are used to thread the lines into a manifold.
