Description

Original Vintage US Hartsook Photography Studio produced Doubleweight sepia-toned publicity portrait still of Broadway stage and Silent Film actress Adele Blood. This portrait dates from c.1914.
Primarily a stage actress, and called the most beautiful blonde on the American stage, Adele appeared in 2 films (1916 and 1920). Both are considered Lost. She committed suicide in 1936, age 50.
   The untrimmed and borderless as issued  7 1/4” by 9 1/4” (18 cm. X 24 cm.) Doubleweight matte finish portrait is signed Hartsook Photo, SF-LA in applied raised lettering (not stamped or in-the-negative), and is in Near Mint condition, light crease one corner. My name is not on the original.

My Flat-Rate Shipping charge is based on the expected weight of the package. If the actual postage is considerably less than what you've paid, I will whenever possible refund excess postage.

I WILL ALWAYS COMBINE PURCHASES WHERE POSSIBLE TO SAVE POSTAGE, so if you have purchased multiple items, please wait for my email message before making payment. But if eBay won't allow you to purchase without immediate payment, I always refund excess postage on combined shipping.

My aim is to have your purchase reach you in the same condition as it was when it left my house. All photos are shipped in a brand-new plastic bag sandwiched between 2 pieces of custom-cut cardboard.
