As a Slip Lead

Slip Lead Mode. The metal adjuster stops the sudden choking action of a typical slip lead. At the point where you have placed the metal adjuster, this is the correct setting for your dog's neck size, and it's the point where the choking action will be halted, giving you a slip lead that works without tightening around your dogs neck.

Thread the lead through the Figure 8 adjuster, so that it slips around the neck & snout of the dog. Works by a simple pressure & release system, which humanely stops your dog from pulling.

Start by putting the larger loop over the dog’s head, and with the metal bit, you can fix the figure of 8 shape in place. The lead will be twisted into the 8 shape, so then place the smaller loop over the muzzle, and fit it nicely around the nose with the other metal loop, and fix in place. This will ensure that your dog will not get free of the lead when out on a walk.

Then, once fitted around the neck and muzzle, you are ready to take your dog on a walk. It may take some getting used to, and your dog may not like the lead fitted around the mouth, so be sure to practise with some positive reinforcement around your home or back yard first. Recommended for Large Breed
