Vintage Japanese coin purse...
This is one of a huge lot of vintage Japanese bags that we have acquired. Most were made in the 1960-70’s… when items like this were still made in Japan...
This would be a lovely little purse to keep in your handbag for use when wearing a kimono but could also be used for everyday. It is made of silk fabric in a traditional woven design. It has brass trim in a bamboo design and a sturdy fastener and is fully lined with a divider to create two compartments.
It is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use.
It measures:
5” or 13cm long
⅞” or 2cm thick
2½” or 7cm high
