This is the original UK 1st pressing of The Tubby Hayes Orchestra "The 

Orchestra", from 1970.

The cover is very clean, as are the spines and corners, just a tiny bit of wear on 

the rear open edge 

as illustrated in the many photos. 

labels show a couple of 

very light spindle trails. The vinyl surfaces look very lightly played, the odd one 

hairline mark in evidence on the last track of side one, very light and 

completely inaudible. 

Play is generally clean and free of background. You hear 

the occasional light tick along the way, but not 

many and not distracting from 

the generally bright and punchy sound.
