I own an advertising specialty company - now in our 45th year I am happy to report - and worked in the industry for many years prior to establishing my own firm. Now in semi-retirement we are offering many unusual and rare samples on eBay. Over the years we sold many coffee mugs, tankards and the like .   Recently while searching through one of our sample rooms I happened upon this very attractive tankard done for Pratt & Whitney, the world famous aerospace contractor.   I am uncertain when this fine tankard was made, but judging form where I found it among our samples, I believe it to be from the 1990's.   However, it is in pristine as new condition. The exquisite glass tankard is a full twelve ounces with a four finger grip handle.   A few features that distinguish this tankard are the faceted inside and diamond cut bottom.   Both special effects create an interesting illusion.   Then too, the multi-color Pratt & Whitney eagle design further make this mug outstanding.   It is in multi-color.   I count six colors: Gold, white, two shades of blue, and two shades of brown...possibly more were required to creates this intricate logo design.   I like the bottom tag line..."Dependable Engines".   This fine example was produced by a supplier called Glass America, and it still has the supplier sticker on the bottom.   I think Glass America merged with another glass supplier many years ago.   The tankard is quite substantial, weighing well over one pound! What a nice gift for anyone associated with Pratt & Whitney, or anyone who collects unusual mugs.   It will be well packaged to insure safe arrival.  In all of my years working with eBay, I have never had any item broken!
