During the reign of Emperor Hideyoshi, Shogun is sent to destroy the last survivors of the Mimoshi clan. Forewarned of the attack, the Mimoshi clan take the child Takamaru away to China to be trained in martial arts and returns as a young adult to avenge his family and reclaim his family's fortune.
