It fits in minutes to the negative post of ALL battery types including Ford 'Square Post' batteries.  Nb DIS-CAR-NECT™ is the only switch of its type that is supplied with special nuts, bolts and spacers so it fits Fords ‘Square Post’ batteries.

A single turn of the black knob disconnects the battery preventing battery drain and electrical fires in classic and occasionally used cars, boats, trucks, tractors and other vehicles. A further few turns removes the knob making it a simple and effective anti-theft device.

The Fuse Link, if fitted, will bridge the switch and maintain power to all ancillaries including radio memories and alarm systems.  But will blow if a thief tries to start the car when the black knob is un-screwed.  If this happens simply replace the knob,  drive off and replace the fuse at your convenience - 3 spare fuses are supplied.
