Description: This is the very special, first edition, 2 vol compact set of an excellent English translation of the Hebrew Old Testament Bible and most importantly the commentary of Rashi (fl. 1060 A.D.) translated into understandable, contemporary English. It is extremely important and a seminal 11th century commentary. This was of great importance to all Christian Bible scholars of the 13th, 14th, 15th centuries, up until the German-era of Bible study when focus was on Biblical Historicity and Criticism. The set is very elusive.
This set, printed in 1946, was the only compact set ever printed on this specialized paper. It is a third of the size of the standard one but with all the information. May have a name. Includes the Five Books Of Moses or what is The Torah, They are:

Leviticus
Numbers
Deuteronomy
