The 1-ER kit is the entry level singlespeed kit, designed to introduce you to the world of singlespeed without breaking the bank. With narrow steel cogs it is recommended to use this on steel freehub bodies only. The tapered spacers are designed to offer increased lateral support for the cog under load.
This kit is supplied with:
12 and 13t CNC or 16 and 18t CNC and drilled Chromo 3/32’’ cog. Not suitable for 9/10/11/12 speed chains.
2x CNC and drilled alloy spacers with laser etching. Different thicknesses for chain line adjustment.
Lock ring
Shimano HG compatible only.
12/13/14/16/18/20t cogs available separately.
The XD 1-ER has been developed from our vision that riders with XD freehubs may want to go single speed without buying a new freehub. We entered the single speed market early and we know that riders still look for simple and elegant solutions to keep their bikes working in all conditions.
Utilising the splines and threaded XD freehub body our XD 1-ER kit is simple to fit and provides a 49 or 51mm chain line depending on the orientation of the suppled 3mm spacer. Going single speed on a modern SRAM equipped bike has never been so easy.
Sprocket teeth are designed for a narrow 3/32" 9-speed chain, although wider, 1/8" single speed chains can also be successfully used.
Fitting a new chain is recommended, as a pre-used chain will likely be worn and may not mesh well with the fresh, unworn sprocket.

The Double Six single speed kit is the premium level kit featuring a 7mm wide spline base Shimano HG fit cog to ensure power transfer doesn’t score or destroy alloy freehub bodies. The tapered spacers are designed to offer increased lateral support for the cog under load.

12t CNC Chromo 5/64’’ cog for micro drive set ups, or 16t CNC Chromo 5/64’’ cog
2x CNC alloy spacers with laser etching.
