Fujima-Ryu Maiogi Dance Fan
Design:
This stunning fan came from the Fujima-Ryu dance school. It is a lovely cloud motif in silver & red and a large Kamon in gold on each side associated with the dance school from which it came. It has natural lacqured bamboo struts with lead weights. It measures 19” or 49cm from tip to tip when open and is 11” or about 28cm long when closed. Condition:
This fan is structurally sound and tight and shows no bends and only minor signs of apparent wear - it has a slight patina of age to the metalic finish (silver oxidizes over time) but looks fantastic! No box: see photos.
Its condition has be carefully taken into consideration in the price so please see photos for details. The first 2 photos show both sides of the fan. Please examine them carefully to be sure you are happy with the fan before making your purchase.
