Operation Instructions:

PRECAUTION
1. Do not drop the unit it is not shock proof
2. Do not soak the display in water.
3. Do not boil the probe, instead, clean the unit by wiping it with a dry cloth
and sterilize the probe with ethyl (rubbing) alcohol.
4. Do not allow the unit to come into contact with any chemical solvents.
5. Do not store the unit in direct sunlight or at a high temperature.
6. Do not bend the unit
7. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit except to replace the battery.
HOW TO REPLACE THE BATTERY
When the battery is almost exhausted, the following symbol ““ will appear
in display window.
1. Remove the battery cover as shown in the diagram.
2. Use toothpick or insulated probe to remove the battery. Avoid using any
sharp metal object in this operation.
3. Insert the new battery.
NOTE: Ensure battery polarity is correct placed. The battery should be
inserted with the positive side (+) facing up and the negative side (-) facing

down.
4. Replace and fasten the cover securely.
WARNING: Swallowing a button battery maybe fatal.
Do not attempt to recharge the battery.
Do not dispose the battery in or near fire as it may explode.
HOW TO USE
1. Press the on/off button. The display will read 188.8℃
2. Release the power switch and the display will show L ℃ with ℃ flashing.
3. Disinfect the probe with ethyl (rubbing) alcohol. Position the probe.
4. Once the degree sign (℃) on the display has stopped flashing (usually
within 30 to 60 seconds). The correct temperature is indicated the
temperature reading will not change after the ℃ stops flashing. For the beeper
model only an alarm signal will sound for approximately 10 seconds when ℃
stops flashing.
5. To avoid any influence from surrounding air, fold the arm over the chest,
tightly covering the probe tip under the arm or put the probe tip under the
tongue and close the mouth while taking the temperature.
6. Remove the thermometer and carefully avoid pressing the on/off button.
Temperature may be read before after removal because the display will retain
the stabilized temperature reading.
7. The unit will automatically turn off in 8 -10 minutes. However to prolong the
life of the battery it is best to press the power switch once the temperature has
been noted to turn it off.
RELIABLE METHODS TO MEASURE TEMPERATURE
ORAL USE
Place the probe well under the patient’s tongue, instruct patient to keep their
mouth closed. A normal temperature by this method is 37℃
AXILLARY USE
Wipe armpit with a dry towel. Place probe in the patient’s armpit and keep the
patient’s arm pressed firmly against their side. A normal temperature by this
method is 36.7℃

Usage:

1. Before use, should use alcohol to disinfect thermometer sensor head
2. Press the power button to display prompt symbol
3. The display shows the last measured temperature for 2 seconds，and then the display C° symbol flashes to indicate that it is in the state under test
4. Put the thermometer sensor head in the measuring position, the display shows that the temperature rises gradually. The C° symbol flashes at the same time, indicating that the measurement is in progress. If the continuous 16 second, temperature is constant in the measurement, the C° symbol stops flashing, indicating that the temperature measurement is completed and the measurement results have been memorized, and the displayed temperature value can be read
5. After the measurement, if not press the power key to turn off the power supply, then automatically shut down after 8 minutes
