This evergreen shrub also makes a perfect hedge. When not in bloom, this evergreen provides reliable dark green foliage on a low-maintenance, drought tolerant shrub. Shi Shi Gashira is a top-notch performer. All camellias are easily pruned into any desired shape with no fear of damaging the plant. We recommend pruning in early spring before the new growth has emerged. Zones 7 to 9.
