Cashmere and Pashmina:
Cashmere is the softest, most luxurious, and warmest wool in the world.
It comes from the underbelly hair of the mountain goat Capra Hircus, known as "Chyangra" in the local language.
Cashmere is derived from mountain goats living in high altitudes of the Himalayan region, where temperatures can drop to -40 degrees Celsius.
Pashmina fiber is finer and thinner than cashmere fiber, making it ideal for lightweight apparel.
Cashmere products include shawls, sweaters, scarves, wraps, and stoles, handcrafted by traditional weavers and artisans.
Cashmere from Nepal is highly regarded for its quality due to the harsh conditions in which mountain goats have adapted over centuries.
Washing Instructions:
Washing: Hand washing is possible. Soak the cashmere product in lukewarm, soapy water and gently rub soiled areas. Rinse thoroughly multiple times. Avoid wringing to prevent fabric damage.
Drying: Lay the cashmere product flat on a drying rack to maintain its shape. Alternatively, you can use a dry towel for drying.
Ironing: Remove wrinkles by placing the cashmere between two towels and using medium heat to iron.
Storage: Store cashmere neatly folded on a hanger or shelf to prevent bunching.
