This lovely enamel silver pendant is handcrafted with thoughts and care. The design is inspired by ocean life, it combines the typical image of sea snail and seashell. The motifs of sea snail is outlined in the central and coloured with shades of brown, while there are diagonal lines pattern at bottom layer which are faintly visible among colour light blue - it signifies seashell.    

To work on with this piece, I firstly make the silver base with indented areas cast into the metal and then filled with the enamel. The technique is similar to the Champlevé Enameling. The size of this pendant is cute, measuring 2cm in width, and 2cm in height. It would be looks lovely in different chain styles or a unique gift to a ocean or beach lover.

⋄✮⋄ 99.9% Pure Silver. The base of this pendant is made from a clay form of silver that is dried and fired leaving the result of a solid piece containing 99.9% of silver (fine sliver). 

⋄✮⋄ Champlevé Enamel Technique. There are several enamelling techniques. Our works are more likely using the Champlevé enamel technique, which is fill up with the enamel colours to the area that we casted into the sliver base. We mix and create colours, so there may be subtle colour variations from piece to piece.
