Terrific Antique Copper Pitcher. Not sure of its exact origin. Most pitchers we found resembling this were identified as 1700's Middle Eastern. That may be, but the specialized antique auction I obtained it from had almost exclusively Early American made items from 1700's-1800's. Perhaps this made it to the America's somehow in that time frame.

The styling is certainly far more primitive than later works of the later 1800's. It is hammered metal & what some identify as dovetailed work.

There is a tar or resin patch on the spout & it still leaks & there is a small leak from the bottom edge of the pitcher that would need patching before use.  In any case, makes a terrific display piece.

We ship with extreme care!  Of course there is free local pick up and we can meet to assist if you are near Indianapolis or driving through.  We do this often.  Also, we have discounts with FedEx & eBay on shipping which do not always show up in eBay estimates on shipping. We try to refund what we can when there is a notable difference, but we do not know until we actually process the shipping order.
