A charming picture of a Chinese rural scene hand-painted onto fine fabric. The fabric and the paint media is not known. Unframed.

The fabric is mounted onto thick paper and is bordered with a silky textured ribbon, this has been folded to be accommodated in a frame at some point please see the photographs for details.

Painting size is 10" x 12"
Including border size is 11.5" x 14"

The paper mount is dated 2007 on the back. This picture was acquired with what was possibly the original purchase bag with the logo Soochow Embroiderers China, although this has seen better days, it will be included with your purchase.
