- UNUSUAL RED VEINING - The Sarracenia Smoorii has some very interesting deep red, accented veins on its foliage. The deep red colour offsets the bright and vibrant green extremely well, being both attractive and unusual in equal measure.
- TYPICAL SARRACENIA UPWARD FOLIAGE GROWTH - A vast majority of Sarracenia genus members have an upward, vertical growth in their foliage. This is no different with the Smoorii, with the gorgeous green and red colours coming together to pull off a truly stunning and eye-catching look.
- EFFICIENT FLY TRAPPER - This Fly Trap plant will efficiently remove any unwanted insects that latch onto the plants inner foliage strcuture. It is a very effective trait that Sarracenia plants are well-known for.
- MANTAINED WITH SPECIFICS - The Sarracenia Smoorii will prefer to be situated in areas with direct sunlight. You will therefore find window sills as a great option for the plant to be placed in. When it comes to watering, rainwater or low-limescale water is recommended as normal tap water can damage the plant over time.

The Sarracenia Smoorii, which is also more commonly known as the Trumpet Pitcher Plant, is a member of the Sarracenia genus with some very gorgeous and unusual features to boast within an indoor environment. You can place this plant on a window sill in order to give the plant access to the direct sunlight levels it requires. Smoorii will not only offer you a plant that can be easily situated, but it will also act as a Fly Trap by removing unwanted insects as they latch themselves onto the inner section of the plants tubular foliage. The bright green foliage, which is joined by deep red, vein-like accents throughout can be cared for in a more specific manner to other indoor plants. It will require rainwater as its preferred choice of water, with low-limescale water also being an option. Normal tap water is something we would advise against as the plant will not appreciate this in the long term.
