Introduction
6E1 / 6E2 tube sound level meter indicator, with different dynamic display effects. Adopting 2PCS valve tubes, the green light feels soft and charming, with strong vintage feelings and 6E1 can be replaced by EM81 tubes, very suitable for home/office/studio audio system to dynamically decorate your auditory feast.
6E1 Version
1. Power supply.
Powered by DC 250V/100ma.
The filament voltage of 6E1 tube is 6.3V and filament current is 300ma.
The two filaments are powered in parallel by 6.3V, or in series by 12V.
2. Socket Connection:
The sockets have been welded with extension cables of different colors, and connected to the corresponding numbered terminal blocks on the driver board according to the color of the leads.
Serial number and description of the left and right terminals:
1. Connect the grid, (6E1 tube signal injection pin), the first pin of the socket
2. Grounding, cathode inside the tube, the third pin of the socket
7. Connected to the control electrode, used to control the width of the fluorescent line of the tube, the 7th pin of the socket
9. Anode, 6E1 tube power supply pin, 9th pin of socket
Pins 4 and 5 of the socket are filament powered pins, the two filaments are powered in parallel by 6.3V, or in series by 12V.
3. Tube holder:
Standard 9-pin ceramic socket, and the installation hole distance is 28mm and the panel opening is 18mm. And default 6E1n tube, which can be replaced by EM81 tube.
6E2 Version
1. Power supply.
Powered by DC 250V/100ma.

2. Fluorescence height
The parameters of the two tubes are inconsistent due to the individual differences of the 6E2 tubes, so the fluorescence heights of the two tubes may be a little different. Therefore, two trimming resistors VR2 and VR4 are set on the driving board, used to adjust the fluorescence height of the left and right tubes to achieve Highly consistent fluorescence of the two tubes.
3. Socket connection
The extension of the socket pin has been soldered out, and it is connected to the corresponding terminal number of the driver board according to the color of the lead wire (the delivery is accompanied by a wiring instruction)
Left and right terminal block serial number and description:
1. Connect the gate, (6E2 tube signal injection pin) to the socket 1st pin
3. Connect the cathode, pipe grounding foot, take the third leg of the socket
7. connected to the control grid, used to control the fluorescent height of the tube, the seventh base of the socket
8. connected to the anode, 6E2 tube power supply feet, take the 8th foot of the tube
Pins 4 and 5 of the socket are filament powered pins, the two filaments are powered in parallel by 6.3V, or in series by 12V.
The 100K position of the DIY kit welding resistance should be 120K.
