Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint
Ideal for metal surfaces, Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint acts as a primer, undercoat, and topcoat all in one, ensuring long-lasting protection and a smooth finish.
250ml Tin:
- Application Temperature: 8°C to 25°C
- Preparation: Lightly stir before use; do not mix vigorously
- Application: Do not thin; 1 coat on sound metal, 2 coats on bare/rusty metal
- Coverage: Ensure edges and corners are covered; avoid over-application to prevent sagging
400ml Spray Can:
- Preparation: Store at room temperature for 2 hours before use; shake can vigorously for 3 minutes
- Application: Apply light, even coats from a 15cm (6 inches) distance; use 3-4 coats for best protection, allowing 15 minutes between coats
- Maintenance: Invert the can and spray for 2 seconds between coats to avoid blockages
