ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Model of Ford GT40 in scale 1/12.
Item is a plastic model kit and assembly is required.
Kit features highly detailed likeness of engine, working suspension, vinyl tires with inner padding and dry-transfer white lettering, fully detailed 2-seat cockpit, precision-fit hinged doors, hood, front section and rear body section, workable steering linkage, Mylar heat shield, vinyl flex hoses, plated parts, gold-tone molded wheels, tubing, wire, woven sleeves, photo-etch parts (seatbelt hardware, screens, access panels and fine details) plus metal parts (steel cable, assembly reinforcing screws, rods/shafts, machined aluminum valve stems and suspension coil springs). Decal and painting guide for car No 2 finished in overall black, le Mans 1966 - includes silver racing stripes and instruments.
Kit produced in 2009.
